Kirstin + Stephen. Sometimes music can be heard in the heart. Love boldly.
Kirstin + Stephen. Sometimes music can be heard in the heart. Love boldly.
From the front porches to the billowing drapery, the arbor, the chandeliers, the barn, the swing to the most enamored couple -- the day was gorgeous.
Mornings at Piedmont Park are more beautiful when you add a stunning bride and her groom. Lauren and Matt's love story is a "charming" one.
Lake Oconee at sunset. These two shared such a time among family and friends at their lakeside home. Just as the sun began to fade, Shannon made her walk to her groom. She was radiant, and Daniel was ready for her to be his bride as their adventure was only starting.
New Years has often been celebrated with a countdown that ends in a special kiss. But no year past can compare to the celebration of this New Year's love.
Johna + Freddy will warm your heart with their love, laughter, faith and overall gorgeousness. Enjoy a glimpse into their joy-filled day:
No, this was the sweetest Johna. She. Is. The. BEST.
I know she's the best, because I have the privilege of sharing an office with her. She is radiant, kind, gentle, faithful, encouraging and well, like I said, THE. BEST.
...and just look at these two winter princesses.
We wanted them to have sweet fragrance in their crowns, so included rosemary and lavender. We wanted that sweet walk that she would have to her groom to be surrounded by the same aroma, so instead of petals these fur babies dropped rosemary and lavender, with giggles.
It was sweetly fragranced, just like her personality. With layers of ranunculus, privet berries, Brunia, textured greens and rosemary punctuated with a pop of classic, timeless cymbidium orchids that were framed with exquisite perfume of double stock and hyacinth. Then it was dressed in hand-dyed silk known for strength, dancing, and how it makes you feel.
You see, Johna simply makes people feel incredibly special and just wait til you see her on the dance floor!
Then there are moments that are simply never long enough. For each minute holds precious interactions that are lost in timeliness. This is one of those PRESS PAUSE OFTEN ones. This sweet time with mother and daughter, and the dreams that are unfolding like a bloom.
Deep breaths, the timeline will wait. Soak it in and treasure each one. They can't be recreated, explained or planned for; yet, they are simply perfectly orchestrated by the heart.
Thank you for including our blooms to stand by your side and have the honor of creating your floral signature.
PLUS: That was likely the first time any of our floral creations have witnessed a lip-sync off. : ) It's because you're simply THE. BEST.

Christmas. It simply brings out a joy and warmth like no other time of year. A time to celebrate love. Abby + David shared their vows and love for each other surrounded by family and friends at Cecil B. Day Chapel. Then, it was time to celebrate beautifully at 550 Trackside.
Some days, I am reminded to simply be. To simply be thankful. Today, was one of those days. Margaux and Ryan, your love story is captivating. You love each other kindly, sweetly, gently, selflessly, radiantly and reflect grace so beautifully. I am thankful for seeing you grow up. Thankful for being a part of your day and thankful for love that is beautiful. Yours is just that.
Ok, this was admittedly one of my favorite weddings of the year. We love bringing in some treats and providing our brides with a stellar team... especially on Halloween! How fun?!?
But, first pause... for mother-in-laws... wait... where is this going?
This December, we were invited as alumni creatives to be part of The Biggest Fake Wedding. Here is a glimpse of some of my favorite pieces of the extraordinary day.
Elise and James, you know how to throw a Southern party. In the details, you never lost focus of your focus. The faith that you share, the love it cultivated and the celebration...
When the wedding day arrived, so did rain in the forecast. But, despite the predictions, the beautiful day was accompanied by glorious sunshine -- allowing Michelle and Andy to enjoy a day richer, and more vibrant than any far-away fairytale could provide.
Sometimes, a love story unfolds as beautifully as a rose. The two spend their days serving others in each of their vocations. And, their wedding day was nothing short of an exclamation of their joy to choose to love and serve each other for the rest of their lives.
The heart is a strange thing. It takes a beating along the journey of life. But with age comes wisdom and knowledge. And when your soul, your heart, and your mind sync together at the right time, the right place and the right person come into the frame in what seems like an incredible perfect dream. What came as an unexpected and unplanned love between Hillary and myself - God looks down and says "Boom! I've been waiting for this moment."
When you marry the woman of your dreams, you simply want to take it all in. Sir Dante understood the day that was upon him and was caught here gazing out the window. He knew what would be happening on this day would be something to remember.
When I first met with Emily for coffee, she shared a little about Ryan, a lot about her faith, and all of her dreams for her wedding day. I knew finding ways to create her signature would be fun. Every detail to her day was beautiful, and overflowing in joy.
Let me introduce a darling, newlywed couple who graciously tolerated, traffic, rain and lots of creatives. Thanks to you both -- your love is evident in the beautiful photographs and completely outshines the blooms.
I love to reflect back on some of my favorite weddings. Sometimes it's the details, the blooms, the bride, the venue, or the love story between the couple, but this was a day full of all of these reasons to be a favorite.
Kristen is a brilliant gem! She is the whole package - beauty, brains, and, of course, a bride! She loves sports, writing, laughing and LOVES Will.
I always tell couples that the most important part of their day is the vows. Now, to make the vows more memorable- surround them with beautiful blooms and exquisite fragrance. Add a dash of personality with unique inclusions of family tradition, or in the South sports!
Mina is a girly girl. She loves flowers, sparkle... and traditions. As a matter of fact, her eyes were sparkly talking about Alex when we first pulled up a chair to dig into her wedding flowers. This was a bride I could totally relate to. These are some of my favorites, as well.
The ceremony was at The Millenium Gate, and that cool morning would be warmed up nicely with the dance party at The Georgian Terrace. Now The Georgian Terrace is full of traditions. It opened in 1911 and is simply legendary. They hosted the premiere of Gone With the Wind, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, have celebrated with Presidents, and rocked out with Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, and Springsteen. This particular wedding was one filled with its own glamour and traditions.
One of my favorite stories from her mom was how her aunt, who lives in a lovely building across from The Fox, would watch as brides would stroll down the sidewalk on their wedding day. This day, she would get to see Mina...and trust me she sparkled!Atlanta, you are one amazing host! The architectural details had me captivated.
Mina was no stranger to blooms. Her background in horticulture allowed me to plant a few ideas with some special blooms and vibrant palette to layer with her pomegranate dresses. We knew there had to be some vibrant orchids, Easter lilies, Cherry Brandy roses, deep pink calla lilies, and her grandmother's favorite, gardenias. Love seeing the Easter Eve Hunt, as the flower girl prepared the way for the leading lady.Cindy at Miss Milly's loves sparkle too, and gave dimension to the tables with detailed silver and gold mercury decor.
This groom was literally head over heels for his bride!Happy ever after, Mina + Alex. May your love continue to bloom.

I love good ole' southern hospitality, I love pretty, and I absolutely love the sweetest brides. Now introduce Megan and Trey's wedding: a perfect harmony of all of those things and a handful of other favorites at the romantic Wheeler House.
