I mean, who doesn't love to be surrounded by a whole buncha pretty and great people. This December, we were invited as alumni creatives to be part of The Biggest Fake Wedding. It was a pretty cool way to celebrate Callie Murray's birthday, Christmas, TWO couples and a wonderful year in a roomful of creativity. Amy Osaba Events studio was filled with light and a bustle of us preparing for not one, but two weddings. One of the couples, Gina and Edward, we had met at a past event where they were actually in the wedding cast for Jaime and Eric- love them. Edward busted out of the flash mob to propose to Gina which was an amazing moment. Gina was still her bubbly, radiant self. Here is a glimpse of some of my favorite pieces of the extraordinary day. Ok, Everlaser nailed it on this installation. Love seeing it on the bricks, and now hanging in our office.

We have always loved having the creative freedom at these events, and pulling in some of our favorite blooms. Love this antique rose in Gina's hair...and those pearls from The Cultured Pearl of Charleston. Sherrie was so sweet and wore an amazing pearl necklace and unique earrings for the event. I was smitten with them and delighted Christmas morning, when my husband and biggest supporter surprised me with my very own with her help. Each member of this dynamic team was simply passionate about what they do so well that it was easy to see why Callie selected them to be part of this event. Brides, surround yourself with a strong vendor team and allow them to do what they do best so you can enjoy being a bride. "Press Pause Often" it goes by so quickly.

The Biggest, favoritest....

We are often asked if we are theatened by our competition. No. Honestly, we love to see our vendor friends succeed. We celebrate with them and encourage them, just as they do the same with us. We are simply not ALL THAT, and quite often they are! Cheers, friends.

Cindy with Miss Milly's and I love a good play date. Styling is a favorite therapy. We love sparkle, all things pretty, and happy brides. Together, we really wanted to feature a head table that included the stained glass element that was in our challenge, but still keep it romantically modern. For me, brides often seem fragile. They are so hard on themselves with comparison of all the inspiration out there. These lanterns symbolically were fragility framed with incredible strength and beauty. Comparison can often rob us of our joy, so brides "rest in your own pretty." Translation- if it is pretty to you and it makes you smile- go for it. We often try to please so many-parents, guests, wedding party, friends, family- that we loose sight of what is truly important, the vows. While I LOVE pretty, what could be possibly more precious than that sweet groom who awaits his bride and their lifetime of love together?

Brides are often overwhelmed with all the details, but we challenge ourselves to eliminate some of the chaos and surround them with exquisite blooms and exquisite fragrance as they celebrate their vows. We love happy brides and seeing their eyes sparkle when they meet their blooms. Check out this video with highlights from the evening. Watch UP & UP Weddings VIDEO

And how many of us get to have Santa at our weddings?

Callie is often full of surprises and this time she managed to pull of a Big REAL wedding the same evening. There were also some sweet surprises for her, as well.

It was fun being around this dream team. You should seriously check them out. They are amazing!
