When we received an inquiry for a  September wedding the mother of the bride reminded me of our acquaintance. "You know, you caught her younger sister at the blood drive when she fainted." I immediately knew, Aubrey! And I knew if Hillary was anything like she and her mom, this was going to be awesome....well, she was. She was so much like her mom, that Hillary even wore her mom's dress for the ceremony to honor her parents for their 30th anniversary. Sweet. We got together to dream about the day. We began with one color palette, but when the "fashionista" (words of her new husband) saw these dreamy dresses for her attendants- the palette was adapted to suit the exquisite neutral palette and sparkles! After sketches, the perfect floral signature came into bloom. Green Beauty roses combined with some of our favorite garden roses, thistle and grasses for a spilling organic gathering. It was detailed with millet and another favorite, amaranthus. Ah, the combination was dripping gorgeous, and perfect for this stunning bride.

Now, she was even more like Mother of the Bride, Nena. Can you believe this dress didn't even have to be altered? Hill, you look amazing in your mom's gown. What is even more amazing than this beautiful couple is their love story. Hillary puts it best-

I never thought that my move back to Georgia was going to lead me to the love of my life. With a little help from our friend Cupid, Stephen and I met online/blind date. After getting off online dating due to frustration in not meeting anyone, I turned my profile off and decided to give the last guy I met a final date, who would have thought he would be the one I would marry. Since I shut my profile off, I only had my memory to go on with how he looked so to my surprise this 6’2 gorgeous man was my date. He was early, handsome, made a reservation…what a catch. After a fun and playful dinner we headed to bowling with my friend Betsy and her now fiance Josh. I wanted to hug him, kiss him, love on him the whole time, but it was our first date….how could I already feel this way so soon?

or maybe Stephen...

The heart is a strange thing. It takes a beating along the journey of life. But with age comes wisdom and knowledge. And when your soul, your heart, and your mind sync together at the right time, the right place and the right person come in to the frame in what seems like an incredible perfect dream. What came as an unexpected and unplanned love between Hillary and myself - God looks down and says "Boom! I've been waiting for this moment."

It was a precious walk down memory lane for this dad, as he walked his daughter down to meet her groom. Thirty years before, his very own bride had walked to him in the same dress. Wow, what a legacy! Hillary even described the table where her parents and grandparents were seated as the Love Table.

Ok, I mentioned Aubrey... She loves Hillary and they are precious together as are these other beauties. And their dresses. Swoon.

After they had their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Settle, it was time for the Mother of the Groom and Stephen to leave the guests cheering. and ombre' lace. LOVE)

Nena even added childhood pictures of them for their seats.

May each day you fall more deeply in love. Remember- Press Pause Often and Love Strong.
