Ok, this was admittedly one of my favorite weddings of the year. We love bringing in some treats and providing our brides with a stellar team... especially on Halloween! How fun?!?

But, first pause... for mother-in-laws... wait... where is this going?

For some, I know, it conjures up a scary thought. Thankfully, mine is near perfection, and that is about the same description I have of this sweet mother-in-law who hosted her son and his bride's wedding at their lakeside home on Halloween. It's scary how perfectly everything came together with this all-star cast of vendors, but nothing short of exactly what this amazing couple deserved.

Enjoy the beautiful captures that recreate the setting that Audrey had dreamed of as she shared her vows with Mike.

We wanted to keep the palette soft and romantic for the wedding and add a pop of festivity for the reception. Audry's path was lined with lanterns, hanging florals and hundreds (yes, hundreds) of fall colored roses to unveil the romance among the leaves. Cindy, Owner of Miss Milly's Furniture Designs, and I worked closely on this one... and props to her for coming out with a phenomenal setting.

This was a special gathering, indeed. We sketched, dreamed, and had one #HappyBride.

From the time the guests arrived to the moment they left, there was a welcoming, joyous atmosphere celebrating Mike and Audry. GingerSpice's specialty desserts were perfect for the guests with seasonal delectables. Nicole is an artisan, truly. She created yummy pies, cakes and treats that were a perfectly sweet finish to the evening.

Considering, it was Halloween after all, there had to be a touch of seasonal fun.

These pumpkins gave it a patch of festive flair.

And for another Halloween surprise...how many bride's have their train carried by a guest in costume?!?! This little Trick-or-Treater had a sweet treat, indeed.

Happy ever after you two!

We will come celebrate with your family anytime. Ellen, you are quite the hostess. I am thinking we need to start planning an anniversary party.
