Brides dream of their day many times from childhood. We so enjoy getting to hear their inspiration and bring it into bloom. They always want to feel like a princess, a real life Cinderella, although quite often their dream doesn't include a castle or ballroom when they marry their Prince Charming.  We enjoyed teaming up with Miss Milly's to style and design a romantic celebration dismissing the assumption that barns should be rustic.

The home is so lovely with its grand porch sheltered by towering trees. One of our favorite moments of the day was the groom presenting his bride her bouquet at the first look. Such a sweet moment shouldn't be rushed- nor should the day. The cottages are a quaint, quiet setting to enjoy getting ready for the big day, as well. This couple even shared some time rocking on the porch dreaming of growing old together.

The outdoor arbor and the barn interior billowed with soft draping and chandeliers. Now the bride needed a special entrance to make that much anticipated walk to her groom. Miss Milly's vintage doors were spilling with florals of antique hydrangea, orchids, roses and layers of organic greens. They were framed with a collection of lanterns, while a ceremony table created a backdrop for the couple with a similar garden of exquisite neutral blooms.

Some of our favorites are the layers of blooms in a variety of textured vessels- and my personal favorite the cloche. Not just because it's fun to say....but it creates such dramatic height and sparkle and feels like a princess. Another favorite trend- THE DESSERT BAR. Not just because it's sweet for guests to have a bit more sweetness to the evening, but it allows a variety for the couple when they just can't pick a favorite. And what a dreamy setting for the bride and groom to escape the chaos into the woods for ethereal moments that allow them to escape all the hustle and excitement and simply #presspauseoften.

Just had to include one behind the scenes capture of us enjoying the day. We laugh, love pretty and laugh some more. What a passionate team we had! The staff at The Wheeler House is always dedicated to make sure brides enjoy their day, and take great care of our #happybride They truly allow them to relax, feel at home and giggle- just like the team that pulled together to create the day she dreamed of. PS. congrats to our sweet couple. Can't wait to welcome the little one!

And to put to rest the thought....always a bridesmaid.

Be ridiculously happy. This vendor team will be a great start!
