Meet A Delightful Couple and Her Signature

Abby and David were a pure joy to be around from the first moments together until the overwhelming joyful laughs that covered their day.

Abby's floral signature was layered with a saturated palette of burgundy, fig, plum and creamy blush. It included whimsical greens that danced alongside the hand dyed silk streamers. Sophisticated and fun. Romantic and vintage.

This is one of my all time favorite ribbons. See how it mimics the rich beauty of velvet, yet the silk is still delicate and refined. The ribbon that wraps the flowers is just like this sweet bride dressed in the perfect dress on her wedding day.

Ah! The light streaming in these windows spilling on Abby is breathtaking. The pews are punctuated with the simplest blossom for understated elegance.

David and Abby actually met each other through a homeschool kindergarten class many years ago (though they both never realized this until their senior year in high school.) During their senior year, David began hanging out more with the friend group from Perimeter Church, and Abby developed a crush on him.

After seven months of hanging out, going on a couple dates and prom, Abby decided she was ready to date David. He had patiently waited for her to be ready, and once she told him she was finally ready they became official. They went to University of Georgia where their relationship deepened and their story took root.

Some favorite moments of the day- “seeing Abby so calm. She even comforted me when I realized I had left my shoot at home and had to wait for Andy to bring them to me. During the hymn, “ Before the Throne of God Above”, I started to cry as she was lifting her hands in praise. The florals were definitely my most favorite part of the decor. They had the perfect element of French chic for the December wintry wedding.

Funniest moment- When our son split his pants while dancing, but decided not to care and dance the night away! Thank you, Kim. You are my most trusted wedding vendor. I know you love what you do. It shows in every element of your process from the first meeting and generating ideas, to the wonderful narrative you create, and then, of course, the lovely florals you put together.

Much appreciation and gratefulness.
