When I first met with Emily for coffee, she shared a little about Ryan, a lot about her faith, and all of her dreams for her wedding day. I knew finding ways to create her signature would be fun. Every detail to her day was beautiful, and overflowing in joy.
Enjoy the video that showcases Emily and Ryan's wedding and the captures that follow.

This venue is a favorite.
I love the textures -- the brick, the beams, the floors, and umm pretty much everything!
Emily wanted an organic feel in her flowers. She loved rich colors, fragrant blooms, and southern charm so her signature included free spirit boldness, romantic Juliet garden roses, sweet double stock, layered hydrangeas, crisp freesia and coral hypericum berries with spilling greens to dress up her day.
Oh, the wedding party. When you choose those to stand by your side on your wedding day, you rarely consider their vocal skills, but this delightful wedding party could be heard singing while our team set up the ceremony. As we continued to put the details on the ceremony, Emily ventured her way to her groom for the first look.
We have seen many of these, but this one was a special, tender time. This time, I stopped and soaked it in.
The groomsmen serenaded Emily as she made her walk through the building to Ryan. They were phenomenal. And, Emily, she was radiant.
Knowing how she seemed to want to have great food and great fun, I knew right away that Chef Nona (recent Hell's Kitchen winner and kitchen rockstar) would be perfect when she asked about caterers.
But, all the vendors were just a witness to a day that displayed such beauty. And, the bride put it into words so well:
"Our wedding was the most glorious and glorifying weekend. Our prayer was that every part of it - from the flowers to the vows to the dancing - would be a small reflection pointing people to the joy and truth of our savior. To the fact that we are sinners saved by grace of a God who came to earth and we will ultimately have a wedding with Him. The whole weekend was more beautiful than we could have imagined - full of joy, laughter, tears, and sweet celebration. We could not have asked for better people to make it come together or to celebrate with us! Praise Jesus for what he's done and how he loves us!!"
Happily ever after to you two! Thanks for including our blooms. May your love continue to grow and blossom.
